Reflection
Paul instructs believers to let the peace of Christ rule in their hearts. The word "rule" implies authority — like an umpire determining what is in or out. Peace is not decorative in leadership. It is directive.
When pressure mounts, leaders often default to urgency, anxiety, or control. But Scripture presents peace as a governing force. Decisions made without peace often carry agitation into the culture. Decisions made from peace carry steadiness.
This does not mean waiting for the absence of difficulty. It means allowing Christ's peace to set the emotional temperature before acting. When peace rules internally, tone stabilizes externally.
Gratitude and clarity flow from this place. A leader ruled by peace does not panic in complexity. They move deliberately, anchored in something deeper than the moment.
