Reflection
Scripture calls leaders to be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, and be strong — and then immediately commands that everything be done in love. Strength without love becomes harsh. Love without strength becomes weak.
Standing firm does not require aggression. It requires conviction. Conviction allows leaders to hold direction without escalating tone.
Under strain, some leaders become rigid. Others become passive. Scripture offers a third way: firm and loving at the same time.
Stability is not stubbornness. It is anchored confidence paired with humility.
