Leadership often requires perseverance without immediate evidence of impact. Paul acknowledges the weariness that comes from sustained effort, reminding leaders not to give up simply because results are delayed. Faithful work does not always yield visible fruit on our preferred timeline.
Verse 10 widens the lens. Perseverance is not only personal endurance—it is outward responsibility. Leaders are called to continue doing good, especially toward those entrusted to their care. The work may feel unseen, but it is not insignificant. Faithfulness expressed through consistent care shapes people long before outcomes can be measured.
